A LITTLE ABOUT ME....

Traci.jpg
I started Honeysuckle Charm in 2011 providing machine embroidery to a cute little children’s boutique. Over the years the business grew and I began to focus on the growing television and film industry here in my city.  When the world shut down so did my business and I knew a pivot was coming. During that year my family and I started our first garden which turned out to be lot of fun and an even better way to escape the stress of what was going on around us. As, I began contemplating the new direction for Honeysuckle, I knew I wanted to work directly with the public again but I also needed to do more to help address the issue of food insecurity right here in my own community.
My heart ached as I watched how quickly our country went from thriving to having miles long food lines all while farmer's had to destroy harvest in the midst of it.  I was just heart broken.  I truly believe that we must all learn how to grow something to eat. Whether it's in a pot in your window, under grow lights, or in a corner of your yard commit to growing something.  As we emerge from the great pause, I know we are all more intent on making and preserving memories with those we love. A garden is the perfect way to do that.  It has been a beautiful journey for my family and I am happy I get to share that journey with you.    Thank you for allowing me to serve you and welcome to the Charmer community.
